COVID-19

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

As of 2023 our updated COVID-19 PROTOCOLS are as follows.

Masks are optional at this time. If a family comes down with COVID in their house, we ask that the children not come to school for the next 10 days. If the child continues to RAPID test negative by the 10th day, then the child may return to school. If the child ends up testing positive, they must stay home until a negative test result is shown.

Because we often leave windows cracked, children are encouraged to have a sweater to ensure they are comfortable in the classroom. We spend ample time outdoors each day, and masks are not required if children are healthy.

If students travel, attend large events with crowds, or are exposed as a close contact with anyone who has COVID, or contracts the virus themselves, they must test COVID-negative before returning to school. When they return to school after a large event or crowds, they must wear a mask indoors for 10 days of being exposed and test negative.

Every classroom, including the common room, have the IQ-Air system running during school hours. It has four different filters and is one of the best systems, used by dentist and doctors' offices.

In keeping with these protocols we have kept COVID-19 from spreading in our school.

Lastly, we strongly encourage all eligible students and visiting parents to be fully-vaccinated. If you have questions, please contact us. Thank you for your help and understanding as we navigate these challenging times.
